Molfetta - Return day (Saturday)

HAVING A NICE TRIP!    By Lourdes

We got up at four o'clock in the morning because the transfer to Bari was waiting for us at half past four. We thanked the parents, who were waiting for us, and said goodbye as we got on the minibus.
We arrived on time to Bari airport and then we had time to say bye bye to the Turkish people, who were already at the airport, and to go through the check-in.
We were taking off at quarter past six from Bari to Rome and when we arrived had time to have breakfast and to do some shopping. Then we took off from Rome to Malaga airport at ten o'clock and this last flight was softer than the first one, in fact they didn’t serve us anything.
Finally we were in Málaga on time again, at half past twelve, but the last transfer was waiting for us for nearly one hour at the exit gate because the luggage didn't get out till very late.
So he picked us up and we were in Nerja at half past two in the same meeting point where the trip had begun.
Definitely we had a nice trip!!!

Then I took another bus to go to Bari and we visited the museum of the aqueduct of Puglia and we saw pictures, sculptures… All of them created by the same artist and they were about water. Then we went shopping and we took another bus to go to have lunch in a place where chef students cook. Then we went to the bus to see the cathedral of St. Sabino, then the archaeological museum and finally the basilica of St. Nicolas cathedral.

Eventually we returned to the school by bus in Molfetta and our families took us home.

Molfetta - Day 3 (Tuesday)

By Natalia 1º Bach B.

I got up at 6:30 AM and we had breakfast, we had biscuits and juice. After that, we went to the bus stop and went to school. We met the other students there and we visited the "Museum of the Sea". There were a lot of things here that were used on ships. An old man told us the history about the first ship in the world. In the morning we visited "Palazzo Giovene Di Molfetta" and then we met the authority of Molfetta. They told us about Italian traditions that included Spanish culture and habits, about food, music and religion.
Then we went to Trani and visited the Cathedral. It was very beautiful and had strange shapes. We then went to the Castle of Trani. It was very big and interesting. We then went to eat at the "TPIS SAR, Aldo moro" (Catering school) but before that we had to participate in a presentation about fishes. In the afternoon we went to Castle del Monte by Federico the second. It has a different form based on the number 8 (infinite perfection). When we came back, we visited the "Goccia de Sole" which is where oil is manufactured. In the evening I went with Nicole to see the football match. Then, we went home and went to sleep.

Molfetta - Day 2 (Monday)

Monday by Ricardo 1ºBTO. B

I woke up at 7:15 am and I had some chocolate milk and a croissant for breakfast. At 8:20 am, we arrived at school and the teachers introduced themselves and talked a little about the program. Then, we went for a walk and visited the old Cathedral near the sea, and we took a lot of photos. Later, we walked inside the Cathedral, where they explained its history to us. After that, we walked for like 30 minutes to go to a catering school where they served us food that the students had prepared, which was pizza, omelette, pasta and dessert. In the afternoon, we got back to the school and we, alongside Italy, Turkey, Latvia, and Greece, presented the water sports we practice in our cities or towns. All the presentations were really good and it was very interesting to see all the sports you can practice in some areas. There was a voting: teams had to decide which was the best presentation. Spain tied with Greece but in the end, the others voted the Greek as the best presentation video. Then we went home. I took a shower, I read a little bit and at 22:30 I had dinner with the family and I had pizza, hand-made by my host’s mother and then I got back to reading, and at about 23.30, I went to sleep.

After about 15 minutes another bus came and we arrived to Málaga airport. When we were in Málaga airport we went to check the bag and then we went to the gate of our flight. At 13:45 the plane took off; the plane should have taken off at 13:30 but it was delayed. The airplane landed at 16:00 and we stayed in Rome airport waiting to take another plane. We took the airplane Rome- Bari at 17:15 and we landed at Bari at about 18:00. We took the bag and we looked for a man who had got a paper that said Mr. Juan Cruz. We went to Molfetta by car. The man carried us where our Italians were. There we met our families and we went to the house.
